Voting Question: Do college football players transfer from Division 1-AA (FBS) schools to Division 1 (1-A) schools?

I noticed that Tony Romo played for Eastern Illinois, and Brian Westbrook in Villanova, both division 1-AA schools. My question is if a division 1-AA player was very good in his first two years, couldn't it be possible for them to have transferred to division 1-a if they wished, or is it a matter of not being guaranteed a playing spot.... read more
